LG launches the Optimus 4X HD in India for Rs 34,990

LG instigated the Optimus 4X HD in India for Rs 34,990, which is its flagship smartphone for the year 2012. Previously, it was stated that LG will launch the device in June. The superphone was originally introduced at the Mobile World Congress in Barcelona in February.

The Optimus 4X HD has bragging quad-core Nvidia Tegra 3 processor clocked at 1.5GHz.

A 4.7-inch True HD IPS display with a resolution of 1280×720 pixels and a pixel density of 313 pixels per inch.

8-megapixel camera which can also shoot 1080p videos.

Large 2,150 mAh battery (larger than Samsung Galaxy S III, has 2,100 mAh battery) and 16GB of internal storage.

The device runs on Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich on top of which LG utilizes its new Optimus UI 3.0. It possess features like Quick Memo & Media Plex.

The LG Optimus 4X HD arrives at very interesting time, as it now becomes last of quad-core mammoths to be launched in the country, two months after HTC One X and after Samsung Galaxy S III.
